Description
- Conduct basic hardware and software verification and validation (V&V) for products in the development phase.
- Provide engineering support for production and quality-related issues on manufacturing lines for both existing and new products, including the approval of alternative components.
- Assemble prototypes for product development, design and maintain test fixtures as required.
- Lead certification testing processes (EMC & Safety) for products to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Electronics Practical Engineer with strong hands-on experience – mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience; experience in the medical device industry is an advantage.
- Knowledge of multi-disciplinary products.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in using test and measurement equipment – mandatory.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of analog electronics, digital circuits, power electronics, and software – mandatory.
- Familiarity with medical device regulations in manufacturing – an advantage.
- Experience with OrCAD software – an advantage.
- Military experience in component level assembly and fine soldering – an advantage.
