Minute Media is a leading global tech-driven media company, developing all its technological needs in-house, end to end, in a rapid big-data environment. Minute Media’s proprietary platform serves as the company’s foundation, powering its content as well as enabling the evolution of other market-leading content brands. Minute Media owns and operates brands, including Sports Illustrated, The Players’ Tribune, 90min, DBLTAP, Mental Floss, The Big Lead, and FanSided (B2B/B2C).

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead our consumer-facing content brands and CMS products, joining a dedicated and passionate team. We seek a collaborative person to lead the strategy and execution, with the ability to prioritize requirements from partners, multiple internal stakeholders, and clients, guiding them through data-driven optimization processes to create an industry-leading publishing house. You will have the opportunity to lead, learn, and grow - personally and professionally.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the global product strategy and vision of our proprietary publishing platform.
  • Own and manage product roadmaps for the CMS and our consumer-facing products including websites as well as internal tools, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Strategize with relevant stakeholders while advancing the consumer experience and balancing monetization and commercial opportunities. 
  • Define metrics and KPIs to measure the success of the products and guide team members toward data-driven optimizations.
  • Translate vision into well-defined user stories, including prioritization, while focusing on providing maximum value in alignment with the owned & operated strategy
  • Identify needs and gather requirements from multiple stakeholders and clients and translate them into coherent product specifications
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle with your multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of the required feature set and desired functionality
  • Work closely and build meaningful relationships with our R&D, design, editorial, sales, BI, and marketing teams to plan and execute product releases
  • Drive for creating innovative and engaging consumer products in the digital ecosystem while keeping our management features up-to-date with evolving technologies
  • Oversee the usage and integration of third-party tools to enhance editorial processes
Requirements
  • 5+ years of product management experience with content management platforms or consumer-facing products at a digital media company 
  • Previous experience in developing CMS tools at scale, delivering excellent customer experiences, and measuring business impact
  • In-depth understanding of end-to-end publishing space
  • Experience working with a cross-functional team in an agile, fast-paced environment 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in technical environments
  • A collaborator with excellent communication skills and the ability to promote initiatives across the organization
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, driving innovation
  • Superb English speaking and writing skills.
  • Advantageous: Experience in an Ad Tech company, specifically in the online advertising industry.
  • Advantageous: Experience in a managerial position
