Backend Developer

Communix is the biggest up and coming social gaming start-up and we're looking for a talented Senior Backend Developer.

The role will involve working with large scale, distributed systems and constantly coming up with innovative server-side solutions. 

• Develop APIs and tools used in the core of the company’s operation
• Maintain fast-paced deliveries with no compromises on quality and user experience
• Implementing new technologies
• Develop high performing servers in multi-threaded and complex environments

• 2+ years experience as a backend developer
• 2+ years experience with MySQL, key understanding in query optimization and best practices
• High proficiency in Node.JS and JavaScript (including ES6) + socket.io
• Experience in cloud environments and deployment, preferably GCP
• Experience with distributed systems and micro services architecture
• The ability to be self-directed, a natural auto-didact and require minimal supervision

• Prior experience with GCP and MMO server development
• DevOps and Applicative DBA experience
• Familiarity with Redis
• Gaming industry experience
