Frontend Software Engineer

PayEm streamlines spend management with an intuitive platform serving finance teams and employees. You are an experienced Frontend Engineer (4+ years) who:

• Thrives in team-oriented environments, enjoys collaborating, and believes that great software is built together.
• Takes full ownership of features - ensuring they are well-designed, well-implemented, and continuously improved.
• Has hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (React) and has built real-world, production-grade web applications.
• Understands the foundations of good software design (Computer Science, OOP, system architecture) and applies them in daily work.
• Can work directly with product managers to refine requirements, propose solutions, and deliver results efficiently.
• Is passionate about clean, maintainable code and believes in leaving the codebase better than you found it.
• Enjoys fast-paced, dynamic environments and embraces Agile methodologies for quick iterations and constant improvement.

As a Frontend Software Engineer at PayEm, you will: 

• Own features end-to-end – from understanding product requirements to designing, implementing, testing (including automation), deploying, and monitoring.
• Build modern, scalable, and maintainable UI components that enhance the user experience.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to develop high-quality solutions.
• Ensure best practices through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring.

Continuously improve the codebase, proactively refactoring, optimizing, and maintaining clean code standards.
