About the Role:
We’re looking for a Creative Marketing Design Team Lead to cover maternity leave for approximately six months. In this role, you will lead the design team in developing marketing assets, managing the company’s visual identity, and ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints. This position requires a balance of strategic thinking, creativity, team leadership, and hands-on design execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Management: Provide mentorship and professional guidance to the design team, assigning tasks based on team members’ strengths and skill sets. Foster a creative and collaborative environment that promotes innovation and excellence.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Growth, Product Marketing, Content, HR, and other teams to translate business needs into impactful brand and marketing visuals.
- Project Oversight & Execution: Ensure the high quality, consistency, and timely delivery of marketing and brand assets. Accurately estimate project timelines and effectively prioritize workload to meet business and creative goals.
- Process Improvement & Performance Optimization: Streamline workflows within the design team, improving task prioritization and efficiency. Adapt to evolving company needs while maintaining high creative standards.
- Hands-On Design Work: Actively contribute to design projects by creating visual assets, developing design concepts, and providing direct design support to various teams.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in graphic design, including at least 2 years in a team leadership role
- Deep expertise in visual communication principles, including a comprehensive understanding of brand identity, marketing design, typography, color theory, and composition.
- Comfortable working with Adobe Suite, Figma, and similar design tools to create and refine visual assets.
- Experience collaborating with Growth, Product Marketing, and Content teams
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team while working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset.
