Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Paragon is a fast-growing Cyber startup, located in TLV. We are building an exciting new SRE team and looking for someone that will join us on our journey. You will be part of the SRE team inside the R&D, You will collaborate with the Infrastructure, Research, Development, and DevOps teams to maintain and improve Prod and Dev environments. 

Responsibilities:

• Act as escalation tier in case of complicated incidents in dev and prod environments.
• Measure and optimize system performance and availability, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating for continual improvement.
• Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large-scale distributed dev and prod environments.
• Gather and analyze applications and infra including logs and metrics from services to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
• Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning.
• Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplift.
• Develop tools and automation processes for the deployment of our product.

• Experience developing in Python.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Linux.
• Scripting in Bash.
• Experience in network and system administration.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Self-management capabilities: proactive, initiative, self-learner, team player, cross-sectional view of the system/seeing the big picture of the system.
