Docomotion is an advanced document generation application that offers intuitive and easy-to-use tools for designing and generating complex documents. It is tailored to meet the needs of businesses operating in a document-intensive environment, specifically focusing on the insurance industry. Novidea recently acquired Docomotion. 

What’s the Job?

As the sole Bookkeeper of Docomotion books, you will independently manage all accounting functions, including processing invoices and payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. This is a 'one-man show' role, requiring a proactive, self-sufficient approach to handling all financial tasks within the company.

What You’ll Do

  • Handle and record AP invoices for local and foreign vendors, vendor reconciliation, communication with procurement and budget owners, record invoices against POs
  • Ensure proper documentation for all invoices, purchase orders, payments, etc. incl. their appropriate approvals
  • Oversee AR: issuing invoices, tracking payments, and updating records.
  • Handle collections: following up on overdue accounts, maintaining communication with customers, and resolving payment issues.
  • Assist in monthly closing routines (accruals, bank reconciliations, prepaid, invoices, open PO analysis, etc.)
  • Payment cycles preparation
  • Credit card reconciliation
  • Ensure accurate financial records, including general ledgers, journal entries, payables, receivables, and fixed assets

What You Bring 

  • At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping
  • Arrival to the office 4 times a week - Must
  • High level English, both written and spoken
  • Accuracy, attention to details
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Experience in Netsuite, strong Excel skills - Advantage
