Risk Operations Manager

Nayax is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Risk Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational aspects of risk management across the organization. This role ensures the effective implementation of risk processes, supports compliance efforts, and collaborates with various teams to mitigate potential risks.
The Risk Operations Manager is going to report to the Chief Business Operations
IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:
- Implement and manage the company’s operational risk management processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on operational risks, escalating issues to leadership as necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to business operations, technology, and compliance.
- Support the development and execution of risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct root cause analyses for operational risk incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in preparing risk reports tailored to different stakeholders, including senior leadership and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and implement processes to track and address any deviations.
- Support business continuity planning and testing to ensure organizational resilience
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:
- Proven experience in risk operations, risk management, or a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks and industry best practices.
- Experience working in a global, complex organization; experience in a global payments company is a strong advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and recommend actionable insights.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with risk management tools, and reporting systems, and familiarity with frameworks such as COSO, ISO 31000, or equivalent.
