Description
The Vice President (VP) of Product Management will play a pivotal role in the future of our company. As the VP of Product Management, you will lead our product team and become the critical owner of Cardo’s products. This individual should have a track record of successful leadership, demonstrating the ability to inspire and guide teams toward achieving strategic goals. They must possess a deep technical understanding, excellent analytical skills, strong business acumen, and the capability to define a visionary product. Effective leadership in this role includes mentoring team members, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, and partnering with different stakeholders within the company to drive product success.
Reports to the CEO and part of the Management team
Location: Ra'anana, Israel
Responsibilities and Expertise
Plan, implement, and manage our overall product strategy.
Oversee product lifecycle management from concept through MRD, product launch, to end-of-life.
Define, communicate, plan, and execute Cardo’s product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and other departments.
Develop and implement pricing, messaging, packaging, promotion, and selling strategies in collaboration with Marketing and Sales.
Serve as the key evangelist for our products, participating in press activities, conferences, and other promotional events.
Initiate new products/product categories and related business opportunities.
Manage projects from development to mass production.
Take high-level responsibility for company survey analysis.
Promote a culture of innovation.
Requirements
Requirements and Qualifications
More than 10 years of experience in Product Management within a global company.
Proven experience in leading product and project management teams.
Expertise in determining product-market fit and delivering products to market.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic operational delivery.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills. Be a good listener, provide a trusted voice at the decision-making table, and advocate for Cardo’s vision and value proposition.
Experience with consumer products, particularly electronic products in mass production, is required
Highly analytical with a data-driven approach.
Strong business orientation.
Ability to lead and communicate cross-functionally with R&D, Business Development, Marketing, Sales, and other departments.
Strong managerial skills.
Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields; MBA is an advantage.
Being a motorcycle rider is an advantage.
