Description

Papaya is a TLV-based mobile games market leader with one of the fastest growth rates in the market and millions of players worldwide.

We’re looking for a passionate Senior Retargeting Manager who’s eager to establish themselves as a significant building block in a marketing team. In this role, you will plan and execute marketing strategies (retargeting and cross-promotion) and identify the best actions to drive high-quality users and revenue for our games. It will involve being a critical part of the marketing team, planning the short and long-term growth strategies for our mobile games, guiding the creative team, analyzing and collaborating with other teams to target the most relevant users to our games, and bringing them back.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of retargeting specialists to optimize retargeting campaigns and enhance player engagement.
  • Develop comprehensive retargeting strategies aimed at re-engaging lapsed players and boosting retention rates.
  • Design, implement, and manage multi-channel retargeting campaigns (Social, CTV, networks, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Game Owners, Analytics, and Creative teams to produce compelling creative assets and messaging tailored to target segments.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize campaigns through A/B testing, audience segmentation, and data-driven analysis.
  • Report on campaign performance, insights, and areas for improvement to senior leadership.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and emerging platforms to ensure effective strategies.
  • Own retargeting budgets and ensure campaigns are delivered within set ROI targets.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, with a strong focus on retargeting campaigns in the gaming industry – must
  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing large-scale Retargeting campaigns – must
  • Experience in media buying and network partnership management with monthly budgets exceeding $1M
  • Deep understanding of Retargeting strategies, segmentation, user funnel behavior, and personalization
  • Technical proficiency with ad tech components and cross-platform tracking
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and strategic actions
  • In-depth knowledge of mobile attribution tools and methodologies
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a creative and proactive approach
  • Experience working cross-functionally with creative, data, and product teams
