Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Competitive Intelligence Manager to join our Portfolio Strategy team and play a pivotal role in shaping our market and competitive intelligence practice and inform strategic decision making. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of competitive intelligence methodologies and technology trends, and a proven ability to deliver actionable deliverables that drive success across Product & Technology, Marketing and GTM teams.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and interpret market trends, competitor activities, emerging technologies, and regulatory shifts.
- Produce competitive intelligence and market research materials that informs product development, sales enablement, and corporate strategy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, sales, marketing, and R&D teams to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Establish and maintain intelligence-gathering frameworks, leveraging a mix of primary and secondary research methods, proprietary tools, and industry resources.
- Develop battlewards, competitor profiles, and executive briefings that enhance sales effectiveness and positioning.
- 4+ years in roles such as Market Intelligence, Business Strategy, Competitive Analysis, Market Research, or Consulting.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Market Research, Data Analytics, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of competitive intelligence and market research frameworks.
- Experience in software or adjacent high-tech industries – a must.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and storytelling skills, including the ability to present to C-level executives and influencing strategic decision-making.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, think critically, and work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving industry.
- Proven ability to work effectively across departments, fostering relationships and driving outcomes without direct authority.
