R&D Team Leader

we are looking for an experienced senior team leader to join our success as we continue to scale and tackle new challenges.

as a team leader, you will be part of our r&d leadership team and take full responsibility for the recruitment, mentorship and leadership of your team, consisting of both front-end and back-end engineers, taking full ownership of specifc parts of morning.co’s platform..

in order to succeed in this role you need to possess technical and methodological expertise as well as a strong passion for continuous improvement and learning.

REQUIREMENTS

• at least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience.

• at least 3 years of experience as a team leader

• at least 4 years of experience with backend development in node.js and a modern front-end framework.

• good understanding and practical experience with cloud services and microservices architectures (serverless - big plus!)

• strong command of modern software engineering principles and practices (including oop, tdd,ci, cd)

• very strong communication skills, fluent in english (both written and verbal)

• passionate about delighting end users :)
