Production Engineering Team Manager

We are looking for a Production Engineering Team Manager to join our Operations and Supply Chain team in Tel Aviv.

Your Team

The team is responsible for all the operation and supply chain activity including quality, planning, purchasing, logistics, and engineering. The team mission is to deliver goods in time, quality and cost according to the fabric project’s objectives.

Job Overview

As the Production Engineering Team Manager, you will oversee a team of engineers focused on process engineering, component engineering, production engineering, and new product introduction (NPI). Your role will involve managing engineering projects from planning through to implementation, ensuring efficient task allocation, maintaining quality standards, and meeting deadlines. Success in this position means driving excellence in engineering practices, supporting team development, and helping Fabric’s mission of seamless, high-performance fulfillment.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a team of engineers and practical engineers across multiple disciplines, including production engineering, process engineering, and NPI.
• Drive continuous improvement activities in quality, cycle times, process improvement, machine availability through lean techniques and value engineering to enhance the capability of existing processes and remove waste
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
• Involved early in DFM as designs come together and programs take shape, eventually planning the entire manufacturing piece and owning it through launch

• Lead and guide team members, providing professional expertise and strategic direction on engineering challenges and resource allocation.
• Supervise and mentor at least three subordinate employees, ensuring quality and effectiveness in task execution.
• Direct short- and mid-term engineering projects across departments, maintaining coordination and meeting project objectives.
• Oversee engineering standards and processes, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance

Who You Are

• Academic degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering.
• Over 7 years of experience in production engineering, including team leadership and project management.
• Strong working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD
• Working knowledge of CAD software, including SolidWorks, and ability to design tooling and fixturing as well as generate in process prints 
• Experience of New Product Introduction, reworking design changes and upgrades through to production 
• Demonstrated expertise in process and production engineering, project planning, resource management, Product final tests and team supervision.
• Able to demonstrate experience of working within a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a results-driven approach.
