Gett is looking for a highly motivated and talented Social Media Manager to join our IL Marketing Team.
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing, managing and executing the company’s organic social media presence, including brand management, social & industry sentiment, tone of voice, USPs advocacy and key messages for various target audiences in various channels.
The role involves content creation, community management, trends analysis, and true impact on public sentiment towards the brand.
Key success factors are creative thinking and strong writing skills, as well as proven capability of spotting the hot moment with the accurate content - to create the winning piece, time-after-time.
With the right proactive ‘can do’ approach, and the ability to produce high-level pixel-perfect materials - the ideal candidate should contribute to the company's growth in the organic social media space.
Reporting to the IL Chief Marketing Officer, the ideal candidate is a social media expert, passionate about fantastic copy, and with outstanding attention to details. One who can demonstrate excellent ability of working within a dynamic environment, alongside maintaining a high level of creativity to best represent a power-house like Gett IL within the social networks space.
Areas of responsibility
- Develop and implement Gett IL’s organic social media strategy across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Telegram.
- Act on all the relevant sides of Gett’s marketplace - including B2B, B2C and B2D (Drivers) to ensure a full representation of the brand in all the relevant fields.
- Create high-quality, engaging content (posts, images, videos, stories) that aligns with the brand voice and objectives.
- Own and manage social media calendars to ensure timely and consistent content delivery.
- Manage and grow the social media community by engaging with followers and fostering positive interactions through both planned and ad-hoc brilliant content pieces.
- Monitor Social Media Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices, particularly as they relate to top brands in the local market.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, product, UX, and customer support, to ensure cohesive and effective social media initiatives on a full scale.
- Presentation and Reporting on Social Analytics: Present plans, progress, and performance metrics to stakeholders, demonstrating strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate data-driven insights effectively and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Enhance micro-localization and raise brand awareness in various local regions.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in social media management, preferably in a leading brand in the IL market, focused on organic growth.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, others), influencer marketing with a demonstrated track record of producing engaging content.
- Hands-on experience in content creation, basic design, video production, & photography
- Proven track record of growing and managing social media channels organically.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, presentation skills, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, perfect English written and spoken.
- Fluency in English and Hebrew is required.
