Silicon Validation Team Lead

NextSilicon is looking for a talented silicon validation team lead to take part in silicon and system validation for the company’s core product. Drive validation from pre-silicon phases using FPGA & emulation, through the silicon bring up, and post silicon phase. Including functional, electrical, thermal and power validation. This position involves leading a team of silicon validation engineers as well as hands-on validation work. You will be leading validation team from A to Z and will have a critical impact on the company’s success

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of experience in managing  low level SW/embedded validation teams
• At least 10 years of embedded programming, verification or validation experience in the silicon industry
• Strong understanding of silicon domains (Pcie, Pcie phy, HBM/DDR, CPU, SPI, I2C, UART, NIC, NIC phy)
• Strong knowledge of C, C++ in Linux kernel, python 
• Experience in HW-SW integration
• Strong debugging skills

• Manage validation team and the relevant interfaces
• Develop software for silicon validation in python and C
• Ownership on developing and executing tests plans in pre-silicon & post-silicon validation, including power, performance and stress
• Technical leadership of silicon domains (Pcie, Pcie phy, HBM/DDR, CPU, SPI, I2C, UART, NIC, NIC phy)
• Bringup of NextSilicon new products in lab using the validation environment and tests
• Act as the focal point for HW and SW integration and debugging
• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams (SW, Architecture, Design, and ATE) as part of product development
