Responsibilities
  • Insight Generation: Analyze and interpret complex marketing data (customer behavior, campaign results, market trends) to identify key insights and opportunities for optimization.
  • Data Exploration: Leverage large and diverse datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and potential growth drivers across all marketing channels and initiatives.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate campaign effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization of user acquisition and engagement efforts.
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Design, develop, and maintain intuitive dashboards and recurring reports that effectively communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with marketing managers, product teams, analysts, and data engineers to provide analytical support for strategic decision-making and business planning.
  • Advanced Analytics: Apply advanced analytical and statistical techniques (e.g., regression analysis, cohort analysis) to identify growth opportunities and improve marketing ROI.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to optimize marketing analytics processes, automate reporting, and enhance data accuracy.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, with a strong preference for experience within a B2C mobile app environment.
  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL and a deep understanding of relational databases.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau.
  • Demonstrated expertise in analytical thinking and statistical analysis/modeling techniques.
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and practices (e.g., marketing channels, campaign strategy, customer segmentation).
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely present complex data and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and sound business acumen.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working within a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.
