Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights, developing data solutions, and supporting business decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Redshift, AirFlow,  AWS cloud, and Looker. 
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for efficient data integration from various sources.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain data models, schema designs, and database queries.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports and systems.
• Monitor BI platform performance and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
• Document technical specifications, processes, and user guides for BI solutions.
• Support data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Provide training and support to business users on BI tools and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in BI development, data analytics, and data engineering.
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Looker or Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Redshift, PostgreSQL, and\or MySQL.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services like Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts and best practices.
• Experience with programming languages like Python.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data sets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
